Who we are and what makes us different?

All About Eq. is a tour operator founded by a group of young guides from Otavalo and Quito, in Ecuador with the support of the Foundation Cordillera, (a local NGO) to offer tourist services of quality in the whole Ecuador with special emphasis in ecotourism, the adventure tourism, the community participation and the cultural exchange.

In All About Eq. we want to offer a wide and diverse perspective of the Ecuador. We are in love of our country and we would be very proud of being able to be shown it, we know that such a diverse and rich country as the Ecuador, made of a special combination of nature and culture, requires a very wide perspective to be known to depth, that it is our mission. Our country and the widest vision to discover their diversity are our specialty.

Trekking & hiking

This is one of the best ways to know the Ecuador, their people, culture and nature.

All our treks have the human team and material to make your trip pleasant, we have in each expedition a bilingual naturalistic guide, cook and a team of muleteers that take care of transporting the baggage on the horses. First quality tents, cook tent and dining room, seats, tables, bathroom….

Several trips of different grade of difficulty cross diverse ecosystems like moor, cloud forest, sub Andean forest among other and travel to interesting regions of the Ecuador to visit and to share closely with authentic communities and unique landscapes. Mountaineering

The Andes mountain range crosses the Ecuador from north to south as a dorsal spine, divided in two mountain ranges offers multiple options for practices the mountaineering. The accessibility of the mountains and the climate is the other great advantage of the Ecuador. With 10 peaks of more than 5000m and near 30 other mountains of more than 4000m Ecuador it is the paradise of the climber.
For the success in a mountain expedition is required of several factors: an appropriate physical condition, a good acclimatization to the height, and a good guide, we guarantee you the last two factors.

Rafting and kayaking

The Andes, their glaciers and moors give origin to numerous rivers that direct their flows to the Pacific or the Amazon, through canyons and cascades rich areas of cloud forest and rain forest. These rivers are the scenario of all level trips with rapids class III, IV and more, combined with visits to the forest and with the best group of certificates guides and international standard approved equipments. We guarantee the security and fun in our trips.

Mountain biking

Ecuador is full with routes of extraordinary beauty for the practice of the mountain biking. Mountains, lakes, forests and remote communities are among other the destinations that you will be able to admire. We transport you until the higher point and from there we can descend in bicycles accompanied by our guides and support vehicles with which we maintain permanent radial contact.

Horse back riding tours
Crillo horses well care and trained will take you in journeys by the most beautiful places of the Ecuador. Our tours is suitable for people of all the ages and with or without previous riding experience. We have tours with our own horses starting from the city of Otavalo or from the thermal complex of Chachimbiro, and also in other regions of the Ecuador such as Illinizas national Park or Antisana reserve.

In short distances there are amazing variety of ecosystems and birds, it is a true paradise for birdwatching. You will see here from huge condors, the biggest flighing bird of the world, to minuscule hummingbirds buzzing beside you.
